Jerard Holton is a licensed professional counselor and owner of Holton Counseling Center, LLC. Jerard holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Alabama A&M University. Throughout his career, Jerard has worked in a variety of mental health settings, including community mental health centers, hospitals, and private practice. He has expertise in a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. As a licensed therapist, Jerard provides individual and group therapy to help individuals work through their mental health challenges and achieve their personal goals. He utilizes evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to help individuals build coping skills and improve their mental wellbeing. Jerard is also committed to advocating for mental health awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness. He is involved in several mental health organizations and is dedicated to promoting access to mental health services for those in need. In addition to his clinical work, Jerard is also involved in training and consulting in the mental health field. He has provided trainings on topics such as cultural competency and suicide prevention.
