John Truitt is an accomplished entrepreneur with experience in startup, business design, implementation, and management in both publicly held and private companies. He is motivated by working in challenging and fast-paced environments with high levels of innovation and change. Truitt has a proven track record of success in strategy development, business planning, personnel hiring and training, and operations management. In addition to his business endeavors, Truitt is the founder and Chief Philanthropy Officer of On The Spectrum Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The foundation is dedicated to identifying and advocating for adults and teens on the autism spectrum, as well as those with accompanying differences such as dyslexia and 2e (twice exceptional). The goal of the foundation is to help individuals on the spectrum and increase awareness of the many strengths and talents of 2e individuals.
