Do you REALLY want to turn your hobby into a career?
This episode might make some people uncomfortable because it goes against the saying "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life". I think that statement is very naive and ignorant to the reality of business and being your own boss, and gives people a false sense of hope that monetising your passions will always end well. The truth: it might have the opposite effect. In this episode I talk through why I feel that sometimes hobbies should be left as just that: hobbies, and why the opportunity to make money from them should only be considered if you're primarily driven by financial success, or business success, and NOT happiness!
