Using A Food Bank

The cost of living crisis in the UK is leading to more and more of us using food banks. For some people, the stress of not being able to afford food can cause mental health issues, and for others, mental health issues are the reason that they are using a food bank in the first place. Ellen and Yvette chat to Charlotte (who has needed to use a food bank in the past) and Grace Wyld, Senior Policy Adviser from the charity, the Trussell Trust, who provide practical support for people facing hardship through a network of more than 1,300 local food bank centres across the UK. Follow Mentally Yours on social media... www.twitter.com/mentallyyrs Join our private Facebook group... www.facebook.com/groups/135088803805742 And find out more about the Trussell Trust online... www.trusselltrust.org Hosted on Acast.
