Dark Matter & UAPs: The Cosmic Connection with Prof. Matthew Szydagis | Merged Podcast EP 8

We're back! Join us as Ryan Graves engages in a profound conversation with Associate Professor Matthew Szydagis. Explore the bond between Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena and the quest to unravel the secrets of dark matter. From rigorous theories to compelling observations, this episode will propel you into the depths of scientific inquiry. Watch now and embrace a paradigm-shifting exploration of the ideas, technologies, and groups dedicated to furthering our understanding of UAP. ===   Matthew Szydagis is an Associate Professor of Physics with a deep passion for scientific exploration. He obtained his bachelor's, master's, and PhD degrees from the University of Chicago before joining the faculty at the University at Albany, SUNY, where he has been a dedicated professor for over nine years. Matthew's research focuses on the detection of dark matter and Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs). With his expertise in astroparticle physics, he brings a unique perspective to the study of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).   Ryan Graves: AIAA UAP: https://www.aiaauap.org Twitter: @uncertainvector Connect with Us: Website: http://www.mergedpodcast.com Merged Point: https://www.mergedpoint.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/merged_podc... MERGED is a platform to enable the mainstream exploration of UAP through the lens of pilots, scientists, and innovators.  Ryan will host discussions on UAP that prioritize scientific inquiry and maintain an open-minded approach. In addition to exchanging ideas, MERGED will serve as a conduit for identifying technologies, companies, and individuals that can contribute to the ecosystem of UAP research and understanding. Ryan Graves is a former pilot who flew the F-18 Super Hornet fighter jet. In 2014, he and his colleagues regularly encountered unidentified aerospace phenomena (UAP) off the coast of Virginia Beach. These sightings were so frequent that they had to cancel training missions. By 2021, there have been 11 documented near misses with UAP. The MERGED Podcast is here to explore this phenomenon and the efforts to understand it through the perspective of pilots, scientists, and innovators. Ryan believes that the UAP phenomenon is an engineering problem and that a rational, science-first approach is needed to explore it.
