What makes this generation of kids (Generation Alpha) excited to come to church every week? We want kids to not only be in love with Jesus, but also be in love with the local church.Pastors Dan & McKenzie Sherrell have been married for 7 years and have a one year old son named Wylder. They have helped grow and develop the children's ministry, Rose Kids, at The Rose Church for over 4 years in the heart of Portland Oregon. Rose Kids has grown to over 150 kids on a Sunday from ages 6 months - 5th grade. Dan & McKenzie understand the importance of making church a place where kids are excited to learn about God and will inspire you with practical ideas and a heartwarming vision for children's ministry. They believe no matter the age, every child can encounter God. They can’t wait to share insights, strategies, and a contagious enthusiasm for empowering children to grow in their faith. We hope that this teaching left you more encouraged and equipped today.
