Rachel Hope on coming unstuck, and finding your path forward

My guest this time is Rachel Hope, who walked away from the high life in Dubai, her job, and her marriage, to start over at 50. Unfortunately for her, her initial false start - combined with the surprise appearance of a menopause she decribes as "hell on wheels" - meant that her glorious reinvention took some time coming. Her experiences however did lead her to setting up Soul Sisters Community, and she now runs retreats for women feeling 'stuck', just as she was, and helping them find a clearer path through to their new chapters. Join us to find out how journalling her way out of a bleak time helped Rachel, and can help us too, and why tarot might not be entirely what you thought it was...   You can find out more about Rachel's retreats at https://www.soulsisterscommunity.com/ Don't forget to follow us over on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/middlingalong_podcast/ or find out more/listen to past episodes/subscribe to the newsletter at https://middlingalong.com   It would mean so much if you’d subscribe, rate, and review us on Apple Podcasts to share the love! Om Podcasten

Hi, I’m Emma Thomas and I started the Middling Along podcast in early 2021. Often, we find as women hitting a ‘certain point’ in life, that we are so used to people-pleasing, and making sure that everyone else is OK, and their needs are met, that we have lost touch with what we want, what we need, who we are… I started Middling Along with the aim of reclaiming my own ‘midlife’ and finding my happy. Along the way we’ve covered stories of people starting new businesses, changing careers, and taking up new hobbies that have changed their lives forever. We also cover topics such as perimenopause, menopause, and positive aging. Join us for a dose of inspiration - and make sure you spend your ’messy middle’ years thriving too!
