He is a graduate of Dartmouth and received his MBA from The University of Virginia. He’s currently the COO of The D10 Decathlon; a nationally televised athletic competition produced for amateur athletes testing speed, strength, agility, and coordination through a mix of 10-events traditionally performed in the Olympic decathlon and NFL Scouting Combine. Adam, his wife and two daughters recently relocated to Houston. On this episode we talk about his journey from college football player to Olympic Shot Putter, the emotional and psychological toll of being awarded the gold medal almost a decade after the Olympic Games, fitness over the age of 40 and where he’s focused on taking the D10 and himself in the future.
