EP117: The Way We Talk to Our Kids (and Why It Matters...) with Sharon Jaynes

Today I bring you my conversation with author, Sharon Jaynes. Sharon is an international inspirational speaker and Bible teacher for women’s conferences and events. She is also the author of several books and today we’ll be discussing one of her most popular books, The Power of a Woman’s Words. In our conversation, Sharon will provide practical tips for encouraging our children with our words, how tiny shifts in our language can make a huge difference in our relationship with our children and she also begins the conversation with helpful tips that support positive communication with our spouses.

I appreciated all of the wisdom that Sharon brought to the episode but if you’re specifically looking for her tips regarding children, skip to (around) minute twenty to bypass our conversation about spouses (though it’s a rich discussion that I do recommend giving a listen!)
