Emma | IUGR with Reversed End-Diastolic Flow, preparing for NICU and comparison

In this episode, we talk to Emma about the experience of finding out at your 20 week scan that your baby is highly likely to be born prematurely and preparing for the prospect of a NICU stay. Emma's second child, Noah was born at 29+3 due to IUGR (intrauterine growth restriction) and ultimately reversed end diastolic flow. We talk about comparison and how it is easy to fall into the trap of comparing your premature baby to other babies of a similar actual age. Noah is now 2 years old and thriving and Emma speaks about her experience, reflecting on it in a positive way, giving hope to other parents who know that their baby is going to be born prematurely.
