S2E2 | Sarah DiGregorio on Prematurity and her book, Early

In this episode we talk to Sarah Digregorio, author Early about her book and her experience of neonatal care. Sarah had her daughter at 28 weeks and as a result wrote a very honest and open account of her experience. In the book she also explores the history of supporting NICU babies and discusses some of the ethics surrounding the care of premature and sick babies. In this episode we discuss what brought her to write a book, the process of writing the book and who it is helpful for. We talk about the importance of social support, the impact of uncertainty and anxiety, normalising feelings and how NICU can continue to impact you years down the line.  Find out more about Sarah on her instagram @sarahdigregorio  Find her book here Find us on instagram: @miraclemoonuk Or on our website www.miraclemoon.co.uk Or email on hello@miraclemoon.co.uk A huge thank you to Emma at Cover My Bubble for supporting our podcast - you can find out more about all that Cover My Bubble offer at www.covermybubble.co.uk We would love to hear from you.
