#32 - Preventing Hamstring Injuries

In this episode of the podcast I discuss hamstring injuries as well as  what should be included in a prehab or prevention program. Recurring hamstring injuries are one of the most common complaints of field sport athletes. Once injured, if not taken care of, you can find yourself spending the majority of the season out rehabbing the same injury. Although it is difficult to completely prevent any injury, it is possible to significantly reduce the risk of reinjury. In this episode of the podcast I discuss why hamstring injuries are so common, what teams are doing wrong and how they may be increasing risk as well as how you can reduce risk of injury in season.
