I am interviewing long-time Lubbock local Michelle Bates in today's episode. Michelle owns and helps run a family business and is a full-time bonus mom to two teenage girls. Nine months ago, Michelle’s life changed overnight when she woke up and wasn't able to move her lower body. After weeks in the hospital, she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome. She shares how GBS has affected her life and how her family has adjusted to this diagnosis.
