Peter O'Meara- What is a community paramedic anyway?

In this episode we speak with Peter O’Meara. Peter is an Adjunct Professor at the department of Paramedicine at Monash university. Peter is also an expert on paramedicine models of care and education and was one of the earliest paramedics to be awarded a PhD focusing on paramedicine. Peter’s research throughout his career has been varied but has largely focused on the evolution of new paramedic models of care and the professional and educational issues that arise from these initiatives.Peter is going to discuss an article he has recently co-authored titled ”Community paramedicine through multiple stakeholder lenses using a modified soft systems methodology”.Link to the study can be found here: https://ajp.paramedics.org/index.php/ajp/article/view/793
