I spent some time with Wes (Grantasaurus Rex as I called him then) at CTCRM Lympstone when we were both injured during the long 32 weeks of training held there. I was in a very bad place mentally at the time after receiving an injury early on in the training and was medically discharged many months later. That was 13 years ago. Even though I didn't make the grade, sharing a room together, Wes made my stay in Hunter Company so much more bearable with his often hilarious uplifting spirit and inspirational ways which would inpact on everybody around him.
