Eureka 202: Runtastic

Florian Gschwandtner is an Austrian serial entrepreneur and co-founder of fitness app Runtastic. Launched in 2009, the self-funded company is considered by some to be the first Austrian start-up. After incredible growth, Runtastic was bought for €220m by Adidas in 2015, with Florian staying on as CEO until 2018. Today he is also an advisor to the Austrian government on entrepreneurship and co-founder of Tractive, which makes real-time location trackers for pets.
