Alice Osborn is a book editor, educator, musician, and poet who enjoys history and storytelling. In addition to writing poetry and song lyrics, Alice Osborn is writing a novel about the Donner Party, a group of pioneers who traveled from Missouri to California around the mid-1800s. She is a former editor of Wake Living magazine, and she edited the anthologies Tattoos and Creatures of Habit. In 2019, Alice received a United Arts Council of Raliegh and Wake County Professional Development Grant.
