80: Minority Report; Spielberg’s Filmography; Nitpicks and 9/11

Sci-fi, Spielberg and tonal confusion abound today; Joe & Adam dig into the 2001 Philip K Dick book adaptation of the same name… it’s not called Philip K Dick, it’s called Minority Report.  They chat sci-fi world building, other blockbusters Spielberg should have made and the logistics of rolling out the Pre-cog Crime initiative across the US given there are only three of them. Will Joe’s serious nitpicks prick Adam’s thin-skin? Will they chat about Cruise again?? Will Joe’s egg result in this being the final MYFYF episode ever??? Find out now! Send us an email at moviesyouforgotyouforgot@gmail.com with any cinematic thoughts you have, along with suggestions for future episodes. There is a ‘communal list’ of films people forgot they forgot - add a flick to our tally and one day we may do your choice! Follow Adam on Letterboxd, it’s fun over there. He is @errorofways.

Om Podcasten

Welcome to the home of forgotten films. Each week, Joe Devine & Adam Richmond discuss a different film that they’ve seen before, but forgotten existed. They discuss cinema, memory, culture and history - as well as play silly games about cheese, budgets, and re-casting. Listeners needn’t have seen the film, but are welcome to watch (or re-watch) before episodes for a different perspective. And at the end of each show, Adam & Joe read out forgotten film lists to each other, to find the film that becomes the focus for next week’s episode.
