Guest Co-Host: Jeff Harris.In this episode, guest co-host Jeff Harris and me delve into what we call "The Michael McDonald Effect."  While he's best known for his hits as a solo artist and lead singer for The Doobie Brothers, Michael McDonald had a wide ranging effect on the musical genre known as "Yacht Rock."He played and sang on many artists' recordings, such as Steely Dan and is the patron saint of "Yacht Rock."  We examine his reign as king during the heyday of the genre, spanning the late 70s to the mid 80s.
