The Murder of Roberta 'Bobbie' Miller

2010 - Gilford, New Hampshire. Sometime in the evening hours of October 31, 2010, somebody shot and killed 54-year-old Roberta Miller (who went by Bobbie) and her dog, Sport, in her home in Gilford, NH. According to her brother, it seemed like a personal attack or something professionally done. Bobbie had recently moved into the home after finalizing her divorce—a bitter battle that spanned over 3 years. She was attending college to earn a business degree, going on dates, and was looking forward to an independent future.  Bobbie’s family is frustrated with the lack of updates and progress, and they’re not afraid to speak out. On the surface, the answer seems clear. But as deeper layers of this case are pulled back, a cascade of questions and mystery are revealed, leaving room for doubt. If you have any information about the murder of Bobbie Miller, please call the NH Cold Case Unit at (603) 271-2663 or email coldcaseunit@dos.nh.gov.
