0625: Tudor Nights

With Six the Musical storming to success, it’s time to look at a musical about perhaps the greatest of all the Tudor queens, Elizabeth the First herself, in her own rollicking and rumbustious show called, appropriately enough, Liz.  Join Thos as he sits down with the writers to discuss musical theatre, history, taste, humour and “ruff trade” before chatting to the creatives behind an entirely different show, last summer’s excellent Edinburgh Fringe offering, 89 Nights - a British musical with an American context. [note: this episode may contain the heart and stomach of a king!]
