My Life In The Mosh Of Ghosts - Gig 13. Stunt Kites, Saint Cuthbert's Church Hall, Fir Vale, Sheffield, 25th November 1978

Season 1 ends with Roger's last gig of 1978. The first flight of the Stunt Kites ends in a riot, as the young punk rockers lose control of the teenage crowd at a church hall bop. Roger tells the story of the birth of South Yorkshire's long-lost punk heroes, and their school days together in the suburbs of Sheffield. Every gig I have ever seen. Forty-odd years of thud, sweat and beers. Starting in 1977 and currently covering 1984, if you are a fan of Sheffield music from bands like Cabaret Voltaire and The Human League. Or you like Industrial and Post-Punk music in general, there will be something here for you to check out. I'm Roger Quail, I grew up in Sheffield and played drums with Clock DVA and The Box in this era.
