I first met Monique when we both spoke on a panel for Moms That Rave, I loved what she had to say and knew that I needed to have her on the show ‘one day’ and this week is that ‘one day’. I would describe Monique as a music mogul, she has been in the music industry for over 15 years and has played an integral role in shaping the careers of some of the world’s biggest musicians and high net-worth individuals. The thing that makes her story so amazing is that she started out as a Receptionist at a record label. We chatted about what it is like working in such a male-dominated industry and how not to talk yourself out of the room that you worked so hard to get into.
