NATO C2 Senior Mentors Podcast – John “JT” Thomson

For this episode of the NATO Senior Mentors Podcast, the NATO C2COE invited John JT Thomson, who retired as a Lieutenant General from the US Army in 2020 after commissioning as a field artillery officer in 1986. During his 34 years of military service, he served across the globe and led formations at the platoon, company, battalion, brigade, division, and Army levels. His recent assignments included serving as the 75th Commandant of Cadets at the US Military Academy at West Point, Commander of the First Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, and Commander of NATO Allied Land Command in Izmir, Türkiye.
