Just a few days before Ronnie O’Sullivan cued his way to a fifth World Championship; against the odds, an Afghan player lifted the Asian Championship trophy – it was his and Afghanistan’s first major snooker success. NATO TV talks to Saleh Mohammad, Afghan snooker player and recent winner of the Asian Championship. Despite a lack of funding, Saleh has competed against (and often beaten) some of the world’s best.
