It’s been eight years since Lithuania first sent troops to Ghor Province in central Afghanistan. Their mission now complete, they’re soon to return to Lithuania. Apart from improving combat capability, Lithuanian funded projects have also developed the area and helped the local people. This is their story. As Lithuania prepares to withdraw from Afghanistan after eight years in the country, NATO TV takes a look at their legacy in Ghor Province, Central Afghanistan. But what exactly is their legacy?
