As usual, VMware has constipated its news and announcement for the last 3 months and now we have the VMworld eruption with 5 key announcements and Ethan digs for insights into what it all means. We take a look at Facebook’s DNS and BGP footgun incident when their services went offline due to DNS automation gone wrong. With the DNS down staff were unable to access operations, and also unable enter the data centres to recover services manually.
