1000 Hours Outside
This year, we accepted the 1000 hours outside challenge, and it has been so good for our family! It has stretched us. 1000 hours is quite the loftly goal! But we are nearing the end of the year with only a few more hours to go. I have seen my children's mobility, endurance, and strength soar. I have seen their imagination and creativity ignite. We have made wonderful memories outside in nature together. As you see statistics of how little chidlren are getting outdoors in this generation, it is staggering. I share quite a bit of that research and where "indoor lifestyles" are leading a future generation. I am thankful for people like Ginny with 1000 Hours Outside who are advocating for more time in nature and who are helping families achieve their goals.
