178: In Bloom/ Virile
Our deep dive of Moses Sumney's album Grae continues to two VERY contrasting songs this week- In Bloom and Virile. In Bloom is a slow etherial song full of heartache and longing focusing on something that seems like unrequited love while Virile is a charged up anthem that protests and mocks toxic masculinity. We had a ton of fun wondering together about the themes of these two tracks and the thoughts and feelings that arose for us!
