Ep 56 - Is Glima Actually A Viking Martial Art? With Qays Stetkevych

This week we're getting hands on as Mathias and Daniel are sitting down with Qays Stetkevych an expert in medieval combat, grappling, and wrestling in medieval literature. He has been an active competitor in wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for twenty years. Qays is here to help the boys grapple with the past and hopefully make some sense of "Glima," and those pesky facebook adverts for "viking martial arts".  The answers may not be complicated but they're sure to be brollic!Check out our Instagram: www.instagram.com/nordicmythologypodcastAnd if you like what we do, and would like to be in the audience for live streams of new episodes to ask questions please consider supporting us on Patreon:www.patreon.com/NordicMythologyPodcastWe are so happy to announce that we've reached our goal of 100 Patrons!
