Daniel Rye

Daniel Rye is a photojournalist and lecturer who in 2013 at the age of just 24 years old, was kidnapped in Syria by members of the terror organisation ISIS and held captive for 398 days. Following his release in 2014, his ordeal was documented in the critically acclaimed book ‘Ser Du Månen, Daniel’ which was later adapted for a film by the same title.
