Scandic Hotels is a Nordic hotel operator with about 280 hotels in six countries. According to the Sustainable Brand Index, Scandic has been voted the most sustainable brand in the hotel industry in Sweden each year for the past decade. Vanessa Butani is Director of Sustainable Business at Scandic Hotels. In this interview, she talks about sustainability initiatives in their hotels and how they engage more than 10 000 employees to develop sustainability in every hotel.
