The History Of The High Heel Did Not Start With Women

If you're a woman, there's a chance you've probably worn high heels before. So you know how uncomfortable they can be.  Yet, for many different reasons, despite the pain, we continue to slip our feet into 4, 6, even 8 inch heels. For some, they make you feel powerful, others like the additional height they provide, some like how they make our butts and legs look. But did you know heels were never intended to walk in?  In this episode of The Quicky we're going back in time to understand the history of the high heel, how they were meant for men and whether they are considered a feminist or anti-feminist statement.
