What's in Your Basket: Looking at the Grocery Industry in 2021

As the pandemic struck and paralyzed the world, online grocery shopping, contactless curbside pickup and home delivery moved from niche status to mainstream overnight. Grocery growers, suppliers and retailers, like all industries, had to adapt - and they are still adapting today. But we now have a bit of time behind us, and some strong patterns are emerging, indicating that the long-term outlook for grocery may have shifted permanently during the last six months. In this episode, experts share the forward-thinking approaches grocers are taking as they make the jump to focusing on exceptional user experiences, across both digital and physical properties. Joining us are Jacky Marolleau, grocery industry specialist and sales director at Manhattan Associates, and Steve Banker, VP of supply chain research at ARC Advisory Group. Our host is Chris Shaw.
