The monetary 'phenomenon' known as inflation has made it's presence known recently. Some would suggest inflation is here due to swift and super-smooth moving central bank strategies designed to keep interest rates artificially very low for way longer than what was required. Increasingly though, the reason for inflation may now shift towards supply-side dynamics. Supply-chain disruptions due to Covid is one issue but now due to war, this is about to get interesting!
