The conference also offers many opportunities for emerging writers and illustrators, like manuscript assessments with top publishers plus the fabulous CYA Competition. We also chat in-depth with prolific authors Isobelle Carmody and Jack Heath, who share insights into their writing processes and the stories behind the stories. Meet a CYA Success Story, Sue-Ellen Pashley, whose picture book The Jacket came about via an assessment at a previous CYA Conference.
