The Intersection of Emotion and Physical Pain

In this episode I share my personal journey of navigating pain that has recently developed in my feet & ankles, exploring the distinction between neuroplastic and physiological pain. Through a consultation with Charlie Merrill, I was able to uncovers the emotional connections to the pain and release any worry around whether or not it was physiological, or that I was risking injury through continued movement. Charlie helped me navigate this through an organic dialogue as well as some questions prompts and a physical assessment to rule out physical concerns. This episode is a recap from our consultation that I share in hopes that it might help you navigate pain on your journey.
