While passive parenting may provide benefits, it can also result in a lack of boundaries, emotional support… And you end up treating your child as fragile, worsening meltdowns. (Both the frequency and the severity.) Plus, if you passively parent and don’t set boundaries? Your kiddo WILL push those boundaries. (Consciously or subconsciously.)
