EXCLUSIVE: Cannabis-Induced Psychosis: Bryn Spejcher Speaks Out

Dr. Phil sits down with Bryn Spejcher, convicted of stabbing her friend 108 times while in a Cannabis-Induced Psychosis. In an exclusive interview Dr. Phil delves into the harrowing tale of Bryn Spejcher, who in 2018 experienced what is known as Cannabis-Induced Psychosis. This led to the fatal stabbing of her friend Sean O'Melia with an 8-inch kitchen knife, and subsequently, Bryn turning the knife on herself. In an intense confrontation, it required 8 police officers, multiple tasings, and physical force that broke her arm, to disarm her. Following a controversial trial in late 2023, Bryn was convicted of involuntary manslaughter but faced no jail time, ultimately getting three years’ probation instead. Marijuana is no longer the “harmless” plant so many people say it is, and Bryn’s story exemplifies the dangers. Join us as Bryn shares her story in a Dr. Phil Primetime exclusive interview, shedding light on that horrific, and deadly, night.
