Marcus Aurelius was the emperor of Rome from 161 to 180 AD and is considered as the last of the Five Good Emperors.  Widely referred to as a philanthropic ‘philosopher-king’, Marcus throughout his life worked to embody the philosophy of Stoicism. Stoicism helped him to be constantly mindful of his thoughts and actions. During his rule, Aurelius constructed a series of autobiographical writings known as the Meditations. In his meditations, he spends a great deal of time emphasizing the value of mindfulness and which is why in this video we bring you 5 ways we could learn to be more mindful of our thoughts and actions from the wisdom of Marcus Aurelius.
