Francesco Arese Visconti - into ones' origins, introspection, teaching and the future of photography

Francesco Arese Visconti - into ones' origins, introspection, teaching and the future of photography Francesco has a human-centric approach to photography, and his creative work and research in photography digs into the codes and meanings of identity. He also teaches communication / photography at Webster University. In this dialogue about the reasons of photography, Francesco opens a window on his motivations to photographically go beyond to understand his own cultural roots, how a semi-transparent immigration has settled around the Arc Lémanique. A moment where he discusses how photography impacts his own view of the world, but also how, in his position as a teacher, he believes we might want to better educate the younger generations to understand how images convey truth or might increasingly manipulate reality. Om Podcasten

A weekly podcast on our collective vision of photography, in a rather informal tone. This is the English version of an already existing French podcast (podiffusion in French). Let's try to talk about everything related to our photographic practice, but also about the motivations and a little about the philosophy of what drives us to capture images and then share them. @zdrilx is an experimental photographer / videographer / musician / coder, also co-founder and artistic director of the PhotoGenève photography festival.
