Revelation predicts that there will be two revivals at the end—a true one and a false one. The false one will have a lot of power, it will generate a lot of interest and excitement, and it will do some pretty amazing things; the Bible says that miracles will be worked. However, the foundation of the false revival will be a rejection of the Bible as God’s clearly explained standard of truth. In its place mankind will set up its own wisdom, its own philosophy, and its own system of religion and worship. Tragically, millions of people will be swept up in this great religious excitement.
