Food production creates a quarter of global carbon emissions. Open Food Facts want to compute the environmental impact of millions of food products across Europe, and help consumers and producers take action to reduce their carbon footprint. By putting an Eco-Score on every label we can make smarter choices about the food we eat. Recorded remotely in April 2021.
