#18 Caroline Paul on Shame, Inadequacy and Living a Life of Adventure

Caroline Paul, is a writer who previously had a 13 and a half year career as a firefighter. She is the author of several books including her memoir “Fighting Fire” and “You Are Mighty: A Guide to Changing the World” which came out just as teens around the country were taking a stand against gun violence in 2018.In this episode, Caroline, who saw herself as a scared little kid, shares how adventure became a key part of her soul. She talks to me about how growing up with her identical twin, Alexandra Paul, an accomplished writer and activist, truly helped shape her character. Caroline is an incredible spirit who opens up to me about feeling lost in her second act as a writer.--Join our podcast and send a voice memo/audio recording for our new segment "I Plucked Up!" :Anchor Voice Message: anchor.fm/pluckingup/messageEmail: liz@lizbohannon.co--Love the podcast?
