Newcastle United's women completed a derby double, beating Sunderland in the home fixture at St James's Park with a crowd of almost forty thousand watching on. Substitute Shania Hayles was the scorer, her tenth in the league this season, as The Lasses (TM) retained local bragging rights with a one-nil win which also keeps their slim title and promotion hopes alive.
