11.15.2016: Kenpachiro Satsuma Returns!
Kenpachiro Satsuma returns to the Kaijucast for a brief chat that was recorded at Monster Mania 30. In this short episode, I had the distinct pleasure of welcoming suit actor extraordinaire Kenpachiro Satsuma back to the podcast. Satsuma played Hedorah in 1971’s Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster, Gigan in both Godzilla vs Gigan (1972) and Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973). He then went on to perform as the King of the Monsters in all of the heisei era Godzilla films (1984 – 1995). If you aren’t aware of how awesome this monster man is, make sure to check out the interview from 2014 too! Back in March of this year, I attended Monster Mania to interview this legendary stuntman and I was so happy to be able to touch on some of the subjects that we didn’t have time for a couple of years ago.
