Cryptocurrency has gotten outsized attention on the campaign trail. Former President Donald Trump has tried to position himself as the crypto candidate. Vice President Kamala Harris’ stance is less clear. But POLITICO reporter Jasper Goodman says digital currency companies have fought back from major scandals — with the help of deep-pocketed donors — to be part of the policy conversation.
