Are You Seeking Freedom? Expect Resistance
Anytime you want to change something in your life...to grow...to improve...you should expect resistance. Change is hard. But as believers, we're after transformation (Romans 12:2). And that's impossible without the supernatural work of the Spirit. If a man commits to being transformed, the first thing he needs to know is that there will be resistance. There will be resistance from within and without. But if you are constantly asking yourself 'who am I becoming' and aligning your thoughts, patterns, habits, and addictions accordingly, then resistance becomes a signal that you're moving in the right direction. If there's no resistance in your life, it's likely because you're comfortable with your current status quo.
