The Way Is...Unstoppable
What does it mean that The Way (Jesus) is Unstoppable. It means that when you have submitted to the rule and reign of Christ in your life, you will bear fruit in keeping with the truth. Mark 4:20 "But those that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold." What is that fruit? Its practical outworking will look different in everyone's life, but it will most definitely be the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). But what about the life of addiction? It will also bear fruit. Jeremiah 17:5-6 says... 5 Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord. 6 He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. And later in the same chapter... 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? 10 “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” Every day we're producing fruit. That fruit comes from being planted and nourished by the Word of God in the presence of Christ. Or it comes from a life wandering in a spiritual desert. That fruit will not provide any nourishment for the man or his family.
