You Can Be Saved and Still Be a Slave
YOU CAN BE SAVED BUT STILL BE A SLAVE! We don't like to admit this, but it's the truth. Men who are stuck in the pit of feel like they're in a prison they can't escape. They desperately want to escape but they can't find a way out. We read in Hebrews 2:14-15n that the death of Jesus on the cross accomplished two things: He destroyed the devil He delivered us from lifelong slavery He's talking about eternal salvation in this passage. And it's true if we're God's children, we are no longer slaves. But it's also true that many still live as slaves and not as free men. When is a part of your life it's a clear indication that you are living not a victorious life, but an anxious, powerless, purposeless life with little to no power before God.
